DaVinci Art Studio

Arts For All, through VSA of Loudoun County

DaVinci Art Program provides opportunities for people of all abilities to enjoy the multiple benefits of making art.

The creative process can help focus, relax, express oneself, discover the world, and practice decision-making skills — the artist gets to choose, and there are no wrong choices in art!

Creative Benefits

The DaVinci Art Studio adult program consists of two types of on-going sessions. In ‘Open Studio’, participants (16 and older) work on their own art and ideas. ‘Art Group’ is designed to encourage self-expression and an interesting way to connect with peers. Artwork is shared and discussed with the group, offering a chance to not only discover art, but also something about oneself and each other.

Discovery, like creating art, is a process. The DaVinci Art Studio program is very much about process, the act of creating, and of doing so in a social environment. Though the art, or product, created by DaVinci artists is often exceptional, sometimes the real beauty is in its’ authenticity. Each piece is as unique as the individual who made it.

art eggDaVinci Art Studios has a current exhibit in the Inova Medical Building (201 Hirst Road in Purcellville). An art installation will also be going up at A Place to Be (8 N Jay Street in Middleburg) this September. Please come visit the exhibits and if you are interested in purchasing any art, contact VSA program coordinator Kelly Goosens (540) 338-7973 or emailing Huyen MacMichael, Director of Visual Arts for DaVinci. You can also visit, like, or follow DaVinci on Facebook.

While classes listed below are on-going and drop-in, please contact Kelly Gossens at (540) 338-7973, VSA Program Coordinator,  regarding your interest in order to help with planning. Overall, we follow the LCPS schedule for holidays and weather cancellations. Fees are nominal (please inquire if assistance is needed) and all programs include materials.
